Man has lived in this area for centuries, indeed, the Dingles Millreagh development is situated on the site of a Neolithic settlement (c4000-2000BC), which during the summer of 2006 was thoroughly investigated, studied and recorded by archaeologists before any houses were permitted to be constructed. |
Millreagh has been developed to maximise the much sought after “feel good factor” associated with modern family living. The homes are generous dwellings, which have been designed and constructed to the highest standard. The specification is very high with a great deal of thought given to the requirements of the modern family and their busy lifestyle. The site itself enjoys an elevated view over the town and beyond to the City of Belfast.
Dundonald is close to Stormont and there are many Government buildings in the area. Education is well catered for with a large number of Primary schools close by as well as Dundonald High School. Other well known schools such as Cabin Hill, Campbell College, Sullivan Upper, Our Lady and St Patrick’s College Knock, and Regent House are all within a close radius of the Millreagh site.
Dundonald has a large variety of shops, banks and other amenities and is well served by road and public transport. Sport is well catered for with football, rugby, tennis, cricket and hockey clubs all long established in the area. Golf clubs include Knock, Gilnahirk, Shandon Park, Scrabo and Holywood, which are all within a 10-minute journey by car.
The David Lloyd Leisure Complex and the Dundonald Ice Bowl complete a spectacular list of Sporting facilities.
The archaeology at Millreagh uncovered a rath, Early Christian Period 400 - 1100AD. Another area comprised of disturbed remains, which on the basis of uncovered pottery and structural evidence, has, at this preliminary stage, been assigned a Neolithic date of c4000 - 2000BC.
Millreagh is the perfect location for work, rest and play….Invest in your future at Dingles Millreagh. |
